Of all the little thought that I have written down in a paper which only myself can read my writing, I was thinking maybe I can study about what people think that want when they buy a new home, what they actually want when you break requirements down in details and what the government thinks people want. But I don't seems to be related to CRCWSC.
At 11.15am, I meet Professor Anas. We begin with some greetings and small talk then move on to sharing my idea. I mentioned my thought as written above. Then professor has even better idea that is more achievable during my ultra short term internship. Which is to compare two suburbs with different heat vulnerability index. I will then have to visit the suburbs and make my own observations. I can say this is a lot more related to CRCWSC than mine. So I take it!
After the meeting, Ms. Anin gave me my staff number, set my my e-mail and show me my table. Felt like I was somehow disturbing because I was eating cookies while reading the books that she gave me to read to learn more about microclimate and thermal comfort. Crunch... crunch.. crunch. I tried to chew slower. I also wrote like a brief mini plan of what I will do. Like so...
- Pick 2 suburbs and why
- Highlight criteria to look for from the books
- Making observation by walking around the suburbs (jot down some points throughout my journey)
- Put them down nicely in black and white
- Make comparison

After looking at this...

I have decided to choose POA6008 (Subiaco area) and POA6010 (Claremont/Mt. Claremont area)
